SQLate

As you might already know, we are working on a type-safe template-based SQL support, SQLate, which allow you (among others) to get rid of string-based SQL queries in your Qt application. We are very proud of this new tool so naturally we decided to present it to the public during the Qt Developers days in Berlin and San Francisco.

We presented our work during the Lightning talks: very short presentations (10min) where the public had the opportunity to elect their favourites. Our colleague András Manția took care of the Berlin session and our CEO, Kalle Dalheimer, handled the San Francisco talk. Turned out the public loved the idea and rewarded us with the “Most innovative idea” prize in Berlin and “Overall Track Winner” in San Francisco.

Congratulation András and Kalle, as well as everybody who worked on the SQLate library!

You can already get the library on our Github at the following address: https://github.com/KDAB/sqlate/, tell us what you think about it: Tweet @KDABQt using #SQLate.
